What we did…

After completing a website for Stuart Love when he was in a previous role, he felt confident calling on us to support the launch of his own exciting new venture, Love’s Independent Funeral Directors.

Stuart wanted a website that (ironically enough!) brought his business to life. In an industry steeped in tradition, Love’s has a modern yet deeply sensitive approach – and the website needed to reflect this.

The subject matter needed to be treated with the upmost care, so that any loved one who was visiting the website felt supported and connected with from the very first word they read. Love’s isn’t afraid to speak frankly about death and loss but ultimately, they are sensitive to the unique needs of the families and communities they support.

Based in a beautifully historic building in the heart of Stafford, the business now has a website that sits alongside it perfectly. We are really excited to watch how this business will grow – we’ll be supporting Stuart and the team as their reputation in Stafford continues to blossom and as he assists familes during the most difficult of times.

The website captures the business’ beautiful building and talks the user through different funeral options with pricing guides and now includes a virtual tour of the funeral home.

With very little ‘brand’ to base the designs on, and the building still resembling more of a shell than a funeral home, it was a challenge to ensure the two seamlessly worked together.  But we achieved this by asking Stewart to review the site and giving his honest feedback all the way through the process.
