Vicky’s off on a TukTuk charity challenge – but it’s not quite as easy as it sounds

Winding road in the Pead District where Vicky will go on her charity TukTuk Challenge

Vicky’s off on a TukTuk charity challenge – but it’s not quite as easy as it sounds

Anyone who knows Vicky Stanaway will now she kind of doesn’t worry too much about the future. She follows her heart and figures out what she will do after.

In the words of Marie Forleo everything is figureoutable.

Well, last week she jumped straight into an amazing opportunity. To ride as a passenger on a TukTuk charity challenge for Rosie May Foundation.

Simple you say.

All she has to do is sit there and enjoy the stunning views of the Peak District and while doing so works out if she puts buying a TukTuk into the budget forecasting.

What she really didn’t think about was her severe fear and anxiety of being cold – she HATES being cold. She can barely venture into the garden with her daughter for fear of turning into an ice block – and that’s in the summer.

Not only will it be cold in the finest of March weather, in a vehicle with no doors or windows – the challenge is also covering 300 miles over the three days.

Not one for details, we’ve now discovered that’s like driving from Stoke-on-Trent to Perth, Scotland.

Vick firmly believes a charity challenge should put you out of your comfort zone – she will definitely be there!

Vicky will be taking part in the charity challenge on March 11-13 and you can sponsor her on JustGiving.
